Introduction

While technology helps ensure the speed, reliability, and safety of our service, customers matter most to Zendfast . We have created the following standards for our Courier partners and Customers standards so that everyone using the service has a shared standard for respect, accountability, and common courtesy. The Courier is the ambassador of Zendfast, whether on the road or meeting. The company’s professional image is reflected by the professional conduct of the Courier.

Professionalism & Respect

Zendfast maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding all forms of discrimination, harassment or abuse.

Non-discrimination

It is unacceptable to refuse to provide or accept services based on a person’s race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marital status, gender identity, age or any other characteristic protected under Irish law. This type of behaviour can result in permanent loss of access to the Zendfast platform.

No aggressive behaviour

It is disrespectful to make derogatory remarks about a person or group. Furthermore, commenting on appearance, asking overly personal questions and making unwanted physical contact are all inappropriate. We encourage you be mindful of customers’ privacy and personal space. Violence of any kind will lead to the withdrawal of the service.

Human Kindness

Calm and clear communication is the most effective way to defuse any disagreement that may arise between you and the customer. Zendfast expects that all couriers will treat customers with respect and courtesy.

Common courtesy is the rule, always be polite and never argue with or lie to a client.

  • Never use any derogatory, coarse or vulgar language on the job.
  • Let Zendfast know if you are having any problems.
  • Don’t delay and make sure you pick up the right packages.
  • Always check the address label and order number on a package before leaving a client site.
  • Do not idle at any customer’s premises.
  • All packages picked-up or being delivered should be considered private and confidential and should not be opened, shared, copied, or shown to anyone.
  • If the piece being picked up is too difficult to handle (for example, too heavy, too large, or of an odd shape) politely advise the customer that another courier will handle the delivery, and immediately call the Zendfast for support.
  • Always use the correct handling equipment when moving packages that are over signed or awkward, or too heavy.
  • Sometimes we get wrong information sometimes the customer or Zendfast makes a mistake, once in awhile. Please be polite and professional at all times.
  • Please keep yourself and the vehicle clean at all times.

Safety

The safety of customers and couriers on the Zendfast platform is of utmost concern. In order to best protect everyone using the service, we require the following:

To meet the standard of professionalism required, motorcyclists and vehicle drivers need to have the appropriate full driving licence; a current excise licence with NCT Test Certificate, if necessary, for their vehicle, and be properly insured for the purposes of the Road Traffic Act, including cover for the use of vehicle for courier use. Please ensure that your vehicle is properly licenced, insured and roadworthy and that you obey the Rules of the Road.

No Alcohol or drugs are permitted in a courier’s vehicles. This is against the law and a serious violation of Zendfast policy. Furthermore, Zendfast does not allow drug or alcohol use by a courier while using the Zendfast app. If a customer believes a courier may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, please alert Zendfast Customer Support at www.zendfast.com. Couriers should never use a hand held phone when driving. As a courier, it is your responsibility to transport the goods safely in accordance with the rules of the road.

Violations of this Code of Conduct could result in loss of your Zendfast Account. Please report any violations to Zendfast. We want to hear your feedback!

EMERGENCIES

If at any time you feel that you are faced with a situation that requires immediate emergency attention, please call the emergency service number in your area. Once all parties are safe and the situation has been handled by the authorities please then notify Zendfast. We will assist and take appropriate action as needed, including cooperating with law enforcement.
